Top honour for Premier League referee
Premier League referee Howard Webb will take charge of Saturday's UEFA Champions League final.
Webb has been given the prestigious honour of handling the match between Bayern Munich and Inter Milan at Real Madrid's Bernabeu Stadium.
It is recognition for the Select Group official's fine campaign and his strong handling of matches which has also seen him named as England's representative for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

The 38-year-old from Rotherham has been an international referee since 2005 and he took charge of 28 Barclays Premier League matches last season.

At the final, Webb will be assisted by his countrymen Michael Mullarkey and Darren Cann who will be accompanying him to South Africa. The fourth official will be another Premier League referee Martin Atkinson.
Webb has handled 19 UEFA Champions League fixtures in total and six this season, including the quarter-final first leg between Inter and CSKA Moscow in Milan and the group stage match between Dinamo Kiev and Barcelona in Kiev.
In addition, Webb has been appointed for several prestigious national team matches, including two UEFA EURO 2008 final tournament fixtures and three 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifying ties. A former police officer who enjoys keeping fit, Webb was inspired to pick up the whistle by his father at the age of 18.
